Benjamin Britten’s Canticles

A multi-disciplinary concert of Benjamin Britten’s five canticles inspired by his life in England during World War II. With text by T.S. Elliot and Edith Stillwell, the characters in each piece fight to maintain their faith while enduring desperate circumstances.

Madeline directed Canticle IV “Journey of the Maggi,” as well as scenic and lighting design for the entire concert.
